How does betting on the PowerBall at Lottoland work?
Instead of entering the official PowerBall lottery draw, you place a bet on the outcome and the results of it can be found here. You pick the numbers you think will be drawn in the same way as if you had entered the official lottery draw. Betting with us, you win the amount that you would have won if the official prize fund was shared between you and any official lottery winners.
How do I choose a line and place a bet?
Choose 5 numbers from the main pool of 1–69 and 1 further number, known as the ‘PowerBall, from a pool of 1-26. You can also select the QuickPick option (Quick+1) and this will choose a line for you randomly. Once you have chosen your numbers, select which draw you want to bet on, either Thursday or Sunday, and press ‘Submit’. This will take you through to a checkout – at this stage just click ‘Confirm and proceed’ to place your bet.
What is the PowerPlay option?
The PowerPlay feature allows you to boost the potential winnings on all non-jackpot prize tiers. Should you win prize tier 2, your winnings will be doubled. If you win at any other non-jackpot prize tier your winnings will be either x2, x3, x4 or x5 depending on the PowerPlay ball that is drawn. If the jackpot is below $150m (£108m) an additional x10 PowerPlay ball is added. It costs £1 to activate the PowerPlay feature.

You will win our jackpot if your 5 main numbers and 1 PowerBall is the same as those in the official PowerBall draw.

Lottoland can at its own discretion decide to increase the price of the single line bet if the underlying lottery jackpot reaches US $500m as shown in the table below:

When does the draw take place?
The PowerBall draw takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night in Florida, USA at approximately 11pm, which equates to 5am on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday CET.

When you bet on the outcome of the PowerBall, you win the amount that you would have won if the official prize fund was shared between you and any official lottery winners. Lottoland replicate the pay-out structure of the Official Lottery Draws in America and for this reason the total prize is reduced by 38% to make allowances for the tax Official winners in Tiers 1 to 3 would have to pay. Players can choose if they would like to be paid out either by lump sum or via in 30 year instalments in an annuity package at Lottoland’s discretion. The lump sum method will be paid out at 60% of the total value of the annuity amount. The annuity method will be paid as one annual payment being made for the 30 year term. The level of payments are calculated such that the payments rise 4% from year to year until the full sum has been paid out.

What do I do if I win?
If your account has been verified simply proceed to your account and withdraw your winnings. If your account has not been verified you will first need to provide proof of your ID and proof of address. Once this has been confirmed you will be able to withdraw your winnings.
