How do I fill out an Austrian Lotto bet?
Filling out an Austrian Lotto ticket is easy – even if you have never played the lottery before. Inside the ticket area you’ll see a grid of boxes, each representing one of the 45 numbers you can choose. Simply tick the boxes to pick your six numbers.
Quick Pick Feature: Alternatively you can click on the Quick Pick box to pick your numbers using our random number generator. The advantage of this, beyond just speed and convenience, is that truly random numbers are less likely to be picked by other players, therefore you are far less likely to have to share large jackpots.
Either way a manual or quickpick 6-number bet will cost you £1.50.
Combo Feature: If you select more than six numbers you will automatically trigger the Combo feature, also known as a system bet. Picking extra numbers will increase your ticket price. Playing with additional numbers in multiple combinations, however, will also increase your chances of winning.
The Joker Game: By opting to play the add-on Joker game you have yet another opportunity to get rich. Six numbers from zero to nine are drawn from the drum. Each time a number is drawn it is then placed back into the drum, theoretically allowing the same number to be drawn an additional five times.
Unlike the regular game you cannot select specific numbers for the Joker game because, in Austria, the Joker draw corresponds to the serial number on your actual lottery ticket. In Lottoland these numbers are pre-picked at random using the same numerical structure. Unlike when you play with an actual ticket, however, with Lottoland you also have the option of clicking the refresh button (the circling arrow icon) next to your numbers to generate a new number sequence. Feel free to do this as many times as you wish until you have a sequence you would like to play with. You can also select up to three different Joker number sequences. Each Joker selection costs £1.40 extra.
Draw and Duration Selection: The new draw format simplifies your choices. You will no longer need to specify particular weekdays (Wednesday, Sunday, or both) for participation. Likewise, the selection of the number of weeks is no longer required. Instead, you will only choose the number of consecutive draws you want to engage in.
Bonus draw: Exciting news for our Austrian Lotto players! Get ready for a new monthly extra draw, mirroring the official lottery provider's offerings. This additional draw is typically scheduled for the 2nd Friday of each month. Stay tuned for more chances to win big!
Finally, you have the JackpotHunt feature. This allows you to play until a given jackpot is won.
In the Participation section, meanwhile, you can select specific times when you wish to play.
Whichever option you choose, as a Lottoland player, you will be automatically notified by email of your transaction and will then subsequently be sent an email with each draw’s results. You will also be sent an email detailing any wins and the amount that has been credited to your Lottoland account.
How does Lotto Plus work?
Lotto Plus reuses your main game numbers for a second lottery draw, giving you a chance to win additional prizes when you match 3 or more numbers. For just 50p extra, you could win a supplementary jackpot that can climb into the hundreds of thousands; to boost your chances of a big win, simply tick the Lotto plus box underneath the main bet slip.
What is the Joker number and how is it determined?
The Joker number is part of the special Joker bonus game. It is composed of six numbers from a range of 0 to 9.
If you play with an actual Austrian Lotto ticket the Joker number sequence corresponds to your ticket’s six-digit serial number. This is why you cannot pick each number individually as with the regular game.
With Lottoland the numbers are generated at random, however you do have the option to change these numbers by clicking the Refresh button on the right hand side of your Joker numbers. You can generate as many new Joker numbers as you wish until you land a sequence you are happy with, and you can choose up to three different number sequences at a time.
To win the Joker game you need to have the correct numbers in the correct sequence.
The top tier prize is awarded if you get all six numbers in a row. The second tier prize is awarded when you have the last five numbers in a row, the fourth prize for when you have the last four numbers in a row and so on. The last prize is therefore awarded if you have guessed the final number correctly, where the odds of winning are 1:16
What Interval should I choose?
Whichever one suits you best. You can select subscriptions from just one week to 52 weeks or alternatively just go after the big game jackpots with our JackpotHunt feature.
What is a Subscription?
A Subscription ensures you don’t miss any draws and you can instead keep on playing each draw until you decide to cancel. The period you select will therefore determine your billing cycle.
